Below are 4 ways to support the expansion of the California Film & Television Jobs Program!

1. Contact your Legislators

Tell them how important entertainment jobs in CA are to you.

3. #KeepCaliforniaRolling on Social

1. Use the hashtag #KeepCaliforniaRolling

  • Post on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn using #KeepCaliforniaRolling to spread awareness and encourage others to support the campaign. Example posts are below. 

2. Share your story

  • Your voice matters. Share your personal experience working in the industry, the impact of job losses, or why California is the best place for film and television production.

3. Post a video or photo

  • Make it personal! Record a short video (15-30 seconds) explaining why this program matters or post a behind-the-scenes photo from set.

4. Tag decision-makers & organizations

  • Make sure those in power hear us. Tag @CAgovernor, @IATSE, @SAGAFTRA, @DGA, @teamsterslocal399, @WritersGuildWest, @AFMLocal47, @LiUNA_local724, @CaliforniaLabor and your local legislators in your posts. Don't forget #KeepCaliforniaRolling in your post.

5. Engage with campaign content

  • Like, comment, and share posts from unions, industry leaders, and fellow workers.
  • Share news articles, policy updates, or industry reports with your own comments about why this matters.

6. Educate & inform your network

  • Spread the word with key facts from the campaign.

7. Organize a group post day

  • Gather your coworkers, film crews, and union members to post about #KeepCaliforniaRolling on the same day for greater impact.
