A major win for our industry!
The California Film & Television Jobs Program has officially been expanded and modernized, securing $750 million annually through 2031.
This is more than double the previous funding level and includes key reforms to support a broader range of productions, strengthen diversity hiring efforts, and create more middle-class union jobs across the state.
Thanks to the tireless advocacy of our members, the leadership of Governor Newsom, and the commitment of key legislators, this victory will help keep our industry anchored in California.
